Revision Strategy:

  1. My goals for revision is to incorporate my peer’s revisions into my final essay and use their suggestions to revise my essays. Another goal is to thoroughly go through my rough draft and find what needs to be changed, what can stay, what needs to be moved, etc.
  2. To accomplish my goals I will read through my peer’s comments, pick out which ones I believe will help, and then find ways to incorporate those suggestions into my writing. Then after I will read through my rough draft again and reorganize and revise as necessary. If I do this a few times I will get my paper to where I want it to be.
  3. My biggest challenge is trying to incorporate all readings and the interview into this specific paper. Another challenge is trying to incorporate different multimodal elements, such as visual, linguistic, and audio. It’s hard to figure out what exactly the important parts are in my paper and how to narrow things down to fit the word count.
  4. If a challenge comes up that proves too difficult to for me to solve on my own I can ask a peer or my teacher to get an outside input. I can also go to SASC and use them as a resource.

  1. Don’t be afraid to state a specific goal that exists outside of your peers’ opinions. Remember from past class conversations, that it can be helpful for you to hold onto a specific goal before entering peer review so that you can gauge the applicability of your peers’ various comments.
